Spreading across Montepulciano's iconic hills, at roughly 250 - 400 m.asl. 4,000 vines planted to ha., yielding 40 hl. per ha. North-easterly facing. Soil is largely composed of sand and clay.
Vinification
Hand-harvested, initial fermentation in steel containers for 20 - 25 days. Aged in 5- 30 hl. sized French, Slavonian and Italian oak barrels.
