From a traditional family recipe, Barolo Chinato was born, a flavoured wine based on Barolo with the addition of aromatic herbs, among which the Calissaia Cinchona bark prevails.
When tasted, it has an intense garnet red colour;
the nose strikes evident hints of spices and aromatic herbs;
the taste is sweet, velvety with a pleasant medicinal aftertaste.
Excellent wine after a meal paired with a good dark chocolate.
