From the Tenuta Voltagrande and other vineyards in Ciro'. From Vines planted at 100 m.asl. Vines are cordon spur-trained. 5,500 vines per ha. Soil is sedimentary with a pebbly presence - great for drainage. Vines are south-facing.
Vinification
Grapes are harvested in the first half of October. 60 hl. yield per ha. Grapes are macerated at 29°C for 25 days. The wine is then aged for 6 months in oak
barriques, followed by 6 months in the bottle, and is then generally bottled a year later.
